Il Gheppio is situated in an old olive-grove offering a panoramic view that stretches from the breathtaking Tuscan hills to the Sea of the Etruscan Coastline, which is only 9 km away. On a beautiful day the Islands Gorgona (to the far right) Capraia, Elba and behind Capraia the mountain tops of Corsica can be seen. The closest village is Guardistallo (approx. 2km) and here you will find a small grocery store (also open Sunday morning), Bank, Pharmacy, Tabaccheria (stamps, postbox, newspapers) Cafés and restaurants.
Our saltwater pool with hydro-massage and fully equipped sun-deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas is located in the most panoramic area of our olive-grove, offering a soft scent of Jasmine and a mix of Tuscan herbs.
